This is Lafond's first Grenache Rosé!
Winemaker Bruce McGuire uses 100% Lafond Vineyard Grenache for this Rosé.
Lafond Vineyard dedicates most of its space to Pinot Noir, but keeps room for Grenache in a section just north of the Santa Ynez River. Winemaker Bruce McGuire fostered the idea of growing cool-climate Grenache on the property, and the results have been rewarding.

Tasting Notes
This wine has aromas of crushed strawberries and citrus peel. Bright fruit flavors followed by a clean and refreshing finish make this rosé easy to enjoy.

Winemaker Notes
We focused on parts of the vineyard with lower sugar and color development for this Rosé. Our first Grenache Rosé. Destemming with cold overnight skin contact resulted in this pale delicate rosé.
